I believe we are all a work in progress and, sometimes, we just need a little help getting to where we want to be.
I love being able to meet others and share in their stories and experiences. I am passionate about helping others access their own strengths to overcome the challenges that come along with life.
I feel honoured that I get to work with you in such a meaningful way, and help you access strategies that will help you live your life the way that makes you most happy.

I specialize in working with youth, young adults and those within the BIPOC community, supporting in the areas of anxiety, trauma, self esteem, relationships (romantic/peer/family), work and school stressors, emotion management, suicidal thoughts, self harm and substance use.  

I love travelling - the beach is my happy place, I enjoy being outdoors and having new experiences. I am a lover of film/TV and music.

  Clinical Supervision at Rise Psychotherapy is provided by Melissa Graham Burke, who is a trained and recognized supervisor with the CRPO. She oversees the clinical work of entry-to-practice interns completing their master’s level education in counselling, Registered Psychotherapists, and other Mental Health professionals.

Melissa Graham Burke is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals.

Melissa has gained expertise through externships, certificate trainings, and years of practice in a wide range of modalities including Narrative therapy, Solution-focused, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Humanistic therapies (existential, person-centred).

In addition to her work in Supervision, she runs an active private practice seeing individuals and couples in therapeutic work. She also offers training sessions and workshops for therapists and psycho educational webinars to companies and organizations.

When Melissa isn’t working she can often be found digging in her garden, tromping in the woods, or sitting around her table with a hot coffee and a puzzle. 

 Hello! I'm Ashley and I am the Clinical Manager here at Rise Psychotherapy. I have over 18 years of customer care,  administrative and managerial experience.  I am passionate about helping others and lending an empathetic/non-judgemental ear,  especially when it comes to navigating your therapy journey for the first time. Whether it is answering your questions about our clinic/services or scheduling a consultation with the Therapist that will best suit your needs, I am always happy to help!
